Is there an update for the latest FORTRAN release and XCODE to replace this tutorial, http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/getting-started-with-intel-fortran-compiler-for-mac-os-x/?

No, unfortunately that is the only guide available. XCode support for ifort is a 'limited feature', meaning it's not a fully supported and full-function feature of the compiler. The integration to XCode is somewhat limited, due to limitations in what XCode provides for non-ObjC and C++ integrations.
We do hope to update this guide at some point before summer 2012. But since it's not a primary supported feature of the compiler it has to take back seat to more pressing issues and documentation.
