Update on Fortran Compiler / Visual Studio 2010 ?

is there any news when the new compiler running with VS 2010 will be available? I read elsewhere at the end of the year...does November qualify as "end of the year"?

You are looking for Intel Visual Fortran Composer XE 2011 (aka version 12), which was released about two weeks ago. This is the "next version" of Intel Visual Fortran Compiler Professional Edition and is a free upgrade if your support license is current.

I don't yet know that - it depends on how long the qualification cycle goes, which is being done jointly with VNI. Sometime in January would be my guess.

I have suddenly encountered problems to debug dynamically linked libraries in Developer studio 2008 (it crashes with internal error when I go to the breakpoint in dll) and I hope new compiler can solve my problems.

Dear Steve,
I am now little bit confused about Intel Fortran versions. I have license of Intel Visual Fortran Compiler Professional Edition for Windows* with IMSL* and support up to 27 Jun 2011.

In the release notes of Intel Visual Fortran Composer XE 2011 for Windows* Update 3 - March 2011 is mentinoed possibility to install IMSL so I suppose it is able to use IMSL so I suppose version with IMSL is available.

But on https://registrationcenter.intel.com/regcenter/myproducts.aspx is not new compiler listed to download. I can only see Version 11.1.

You will not have versions issued after your support expiration available to download.
I don't have the answer as to whether the IMSL version was actually issued with ifort 12 Update 3. The usual announcement letters haven't come out.
Now the Update 3 letter has come out, and it still says IMSL is to be available in a future update.
