We removed Xcode* integration capabilities within our Intel® Parallel Studio XE 2020 Composer Edition for Fortran for macOS* in PSXE 2020 Update 1. We marked the Xcode* integrations "Deprecated" with the initial release of Intel® Parallel Studio XE 2020 Composer Edition for Fortran for macOS* and it was removed in Update 1.  This removal is permanent going forward.  This is the end of our support for Xcode (and future Xcode versions) integrations for the Intel® Fortran Compiler for macOS* for our version 19.1 compiler and in future Updates and releases for macOS*.

We will continue to provide integrations into Xcode 10 on macOS 10.14 Mojave in Update releases to Intel® Parallel Studio XE 2019 Composer Edition for Fortran for macOS* (version 19.0 compiler packages).  However, features are 'as is' and no fixes or new features will be included in future version 19.0 Update releases.

Command line interface will remain fully functional for macOS*.  Keep in mind that installation of Xcode is still recommended, as command line tools from Xcode are required by the command line compiler.  HOWEVER, you can install JUST the Xcode Command Line Tools with the command (from a terminal windows)

xcode-select --install

which will install the Xcode command line tools needed to install and run Intel Fortran on macOS* without installing all of Xcode.
