On which Windows version are you doing this?
Computer is a Dell Optiplex 960
I also have a side question - we would like to upgrade to a new version of fortran dev suite any recommendations as what to get.

I would recommend Intel Visual Fortran version 11.1. I have no idea why your 10-year-old DVF is no longer working for you, but I suggest that it's time to upgrade.

You could always try a system restore to an earlier date when you had no problems running the program and see if that works.
