excuse me, i wonder whether the sample program umc_video_enc_con can work on multicore mode while encoding H264 format, since we have a 4-core xeon PC and there is always 1 CPU busy(100%) while running the test.
Both the ipp package and the samples are the newest and the 10.1 version of ICC is used. I compiled the sample codes by typing ./build32.sh and ran it with the param of "-t 4".
Because the umc_h264encoder is written with OPENMP support, we hope it can gain a better performance in multicore PC. However it just didn't work that way :( Any suggestion?

h264. the source file is yuv420 and we dont use any par file, it is all by default.

thanks, the problem has been solved. however, the performance is just doubled while running with 4 cores...
