Well after several years of faithful service it appears my trusty NUC has given up the HDMI Ghost.
After a power outage/surge, that took out all of the FIOS equipment, Garage Door opener and caused this issue with my NUC, im wondering if there is anything more i can do to salvage this thing.
The VGA port works fine, i managed to update the BIOS to the latest and changed the video settings to use HDMI as the Primary and VGA as the secondary video port.
Ive changed HDMI video cables, hooked the NUC up to another HDMI monitor that i have and another HDTV and just cant get the video to come up.
One time before updating the BIOS, i had the VGA and HDMI hooked up together and the BIOS setting set to HDMI, and i was able to get the video to my HDTV. This only happened once and i cant replicate it no matter what ive tried.
If that hadnt happened along with the VGA and everything else still working, id be calling it a day and building or buying a new HTPC capable of 4K content.
Any suggestions before i open up the wallet?
