Can Optane memory accelerate Secondary HDD in the future ?

Because i have a m.2 ssd. so i want to use it as boot drive and optane accelerate Secondary HDD

Hello Rabbikka,

 

 

Currently Intel® Optane™ Memory may only be used to accelerate one Windows® 10 SATA boot drive.

 

 

Please keep in mind that an M.2 SSD can be SATA or NVMe. If your SSD is SATA, then Intel® Optane™ Memory can still be used to accelerate your system. Currently there is no information available on when or whether secondary drive caching will be enabled.
