Hi,
When I try to reconfig the PMem on a new server,an error message was been posted on the screen shows as :
"ERROR"
"One or more PMem modules do not have PCD data"
"A platform reboot is recommend to restore vaild PCD data"
Now I can see the octane configuration tool in the bios, but many selections are gray and cannot be chosen.
The PMem modules are from the old server and been used on APP direct mode.
Now I want use it as a normal disk to cache my data on the new server.
my server configuration is :
intel xeon 8360Y IN SINGLE socket
six 16GB reg ecc memory running on 2666mhz
Supermicro X12SPL motherboard
How can I fix this up ?

Hello visirs,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
To continue with the support can you please provide us with the following:
- What operating system’s built is being used on this server?
- Is your PMEM an Intel® Optane™ Persistent Memory 100 Series?
- Did you make sure to check the compatibility of your PMEM with Super Micro, and also the population rules for it?
