Hi,
I just purchased the Optane 905p 1.5T u.2 for my NUC 13 Extreme (NUC13RNGi9), and I want it to be used for my OS. I am using the Intel m.2 to u.2 adaptor which comes with the box.
However, the Optane 905p cannot be recognized in the BIOS, thus I cannot use it as my sole boot device. The strange thing is that I have another m.2 SSD (Solidigm P44 Pro 2T) that installed Windows 10, and my 905p can be recognized in Windows if the system is booted through the other m.2 SSD. In Windows 10, I can see 905p's disk full info in MAS and it can work as a full-function storage disk.
I tried installing Windows 10 in 905p through a USB drive and it works. I can choose to run the OS on 905p but I cannot use the 905p alone as the sole booting device.
I updated both the 905p's firmware and NUC 13 Extreme's BIOS, and it still cannot be recognized in NUC's BIOS. I know Intel Optane 905p is not on the compatibility list of NUC 13 Extreme, but as a products made by Intel, customers assumed it has better compatibility than other brands (I know other u.2 SSDs works flawlessly on NUC 13 Extreme).
Is there anything I can do to fix this?

OK, problem solved.
The conclusion - though the BIOS of NUC 13 Extreme cannot show on the STORAGE page ("not installed"), it can be seen and manageable in the BOOT page.
