Is the DC S4610 officially supported by the SSD Toolbox? It's listed as an applicable product in the user and installation guide:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000020382/memory-and-storage.html
However, it's not listed as officially supported on the download page:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28808/Intel-Solid-State-Drive-Toolbox
I'm asking due to having owned a mix of intel ssd drives that weren't on the support list and worked with the toolbox, and others that were on the list but wouldn't recognize within the toolbox. It's easier to check the drive health from the toolbox than run a bunch of data center tool commands. And also there's no way to trim / optimize manually with the data center tool that I'm aware of, which is one click with the ssd toolbox.

Hi KO,
Greetings from Intel® SSD Support Group on your request for support on your Intel® SSD D3-S4610 Series (960GB, 2.5in SATA 6Gb/s, 3D2, TLC).
For datacenter drives, we have available the Intel® SSD Data Center Tool (Intel® SSD DCT) you can download from this link: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28639/Intel-SSD-Data-Center-Tool-Intel-SSD-DCT- for the current user’s guide and installation instructions, please follow this link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000020016/memory-and-storage.html
Intel® SSD DCT is the official tool for your drive and even when the Intel® Solid State Drive Toolbox can see the drive and obtain SMART logs and other information, you won’t be able to update Firmware or other advanced commands. We have seen on your post, you’re looking to perform Trim and Optimizing commands on your Datacenter Drive; current version of Windows* has taken care of this by itself on Datacenter drives meaning that there is no need to perform the command manually.
Don’t hesitate to contact us in case you might have any additional inquiries.
Have a nice day
