Altera-Modelsim Licensing

I have 2 questions on licensing for Altera-Modelsim.

Firstly, I have put together a single license file for our team that contains multiple Quartus II licenses linked to dongles & MAC addresses, various vendor licenses, Modelsim Designer and PE licenses. These all start with the word FEATURE and happily coexist together in the same file.

I have also added all our modelsim-altera edition licenses to the file, that start with the word INCREMENT. However, I have to comment out all but one of the licenses to get Modelsim-altera to pick the relevant license. Is there a way around this?

Secondly, I'd like to run 2 instances of altera-modelsim on the same machine, using 2 licenses. Is this possible? I've tried starting one instance, changing LM_LICENSE_FILE to point at the license for the second dongle, however it fails to get a license.

Running an instance of Modelsim-PE and Modelsim-Altera works fine.

Any ideas anyone?
