Cannot Open Questa Starter Intel FPGA

I was following the "Questa*-Intel® FPGA Edition Quick-Start: Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition " instructions to simulate my design.  However, I cannot open the questasim, when I double clicked the icon, a vertical rectangle showed up with the software name and the logo “Q” on it. After this rectangle disappeared, nothing happened.

My operating system is Win10, and the questa comes with the quartus prime pro edition, the version is 22.2. I tried this in safe mode, but the problem still occurs.

Hello Pan,

Did you follow all the flow? Since you are using Questa FSE, it is free but still need a license, have you generate a license for Questa fse in sslc? Also, below video is the same flow as in the document you mentioned on tool different which are questa and modelsim. Please take a look for clearer view
