Hi,
Our service engineers complain that the Quartus web edition software takes to mutch space. Are there lightwight tools for only configuring the FPGA with an USB blaster. Or witch files do you need to configure an FPGA via the command line,so that i can create a batch file. Wat is used in automated production lines to do this job? wat kind of software do you use? thxLink Copied

Hi,
You can use Altera Stand Alone programmer if you only need to configure the FPGA. You don't need to install entire Altera Quartus II suite if you only intend to program the FPGAs/CPLDs. It should occupy very less space if you install stand alone programmer. Take a look at https://www.altera.com/support/software/download/programming/quartus2/dnl-quartus2_programmer.jsp -BD- Mark as New
