HLS support in Lite and Standard versions

Hello all! 

 I installed Quartus 17.1 Lite version (with the problems that I described here (https://www.alteraforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=57953&p=235788)) and Standard version.  Operating System - Debian GNU / Linux 9  After installation, I did not find the hls/ directory.  In paragraph 1.2, "initializing the intel hls compiler environment" in the "intel high level synthesis (hls) compiler getting started guide" (https://www.altera.com/content/dam/altera-www/global/en_us/pdfs/literature/hb/hls/ug-hls-getting-started.pdf) says:   --- Quote Start ---   On Linux systems, initialize your environment as follows:a. In your terminal session, change directories to the hls directory in your Intel Quartus Prime installation directory.  For example, /home/<username>/intelFPGA_pro/17.1/hls   --- Quote End ---    Why there is no hls/ directory? How to work with HLS in this case?  Thank you!

Hi, 

 HLS is not supported in Lite version.You can use standard and pro version for HLS projects. Refer  1.https://www.altera.com/content/dam/altera-www/global/en_us/pdfs/literature/hb/hls/ug-hls-getting-started.pdf 2.https://www.altera.com/content/dam/altera-www/global/en_us/pdfs/literature/hb/hls/ug-hls.pdf In standard you may find HLS directory without examples folder. In pro HLS directory with examples.  Best Regards, Anand Raj Shankar (This message was posted on behalf of Intel Corporation)
