Hello All,
I seem to be getting about 15% better run time performance out of my Dell Laptop [Core2Duo 2.0GHz (1GB RAM), XP PRO] compared with my IBM blade server 2 x 2.33 GHz Quad core Xeon, 16GB DDR2 Linux Server running RedHat E4. I've tried enabling/disabling multi-processor support, results seem to scale the same way. Is Quartus more optimized for the Windows platform? The results are quite disappointing to say the least. Usually Linux kicks @SS with most other EDA tools. (Mentor/Synopsys/Cadence...) Anybody else seeing similar behavior? Your feedback is appreciated. MarcLink Copied
