I'm trying to generate a VCD file to use as input for the Power Analyzer. I am using ModelSim Altera as the 3rd party simulator. In the script settings for generating the VCD, I have the "all signals" option selected. After running the simulation, only data for the Pins are dumped into the VCD. How do I generate the toggle rates for Registered and Combinational as well? Even though their is pin data from the simulations, the power estimation confidence is still low.
