I want to program a Startix 10 Device which is connected to my Laptop through the JTAG, with a .sof file that I got from generating an Example Design.
I clicked Auto-detect, and it found the device...
At this point, the Start/Stop buttons are still disabled.
So, I clicked the "add file" button, and suddenly the whole Programmer Software is closed automatically without showing any error or warning. I have tried this step again and again and did some restarts, but nothing is helping me.....
By this I mean I am not able to select any file and the "Add file" button is behaving as if it is a Terminate Process Button.
I am very new, and I do not understand what to do and where to look into...
Thanks for any help.

Is this a dev kit or a custom board? Is your hardware connection listed at the top of the Programmer (click Hardware setup if necessary)? Does the same thing happen if you double-click in the File column to specify the file?
