Quartus2 13.1 64bit launch

Installed 32bit quartus2 , and then windows switched to 64bit from 32bit. 

How to launch 64bit quartus2?

You should have two shortcut options under your 'Altera' -> 'Quartus' Start menu - one for 32-bit and one for 64-bit. Given you've upgraded windows to 64-bit after you've installed Quartus, I suspect you don't. 

 

You'll have to re-install Quartus as, I strongly suspect, the installer won't have installed the 64-bit version on your (previously) 32-bit machine.

Hi, 

I even doubt, that with installation of the 64Bit QII 13.1 on a 64Bit OS you still get the 32Bit version installed (to be honest, why should you want to have the 32Bit version with 64Bit OS?)  

I know that in earlier releases the 32Bit was installed parallel to the 64Bit; a few releases ago the WebEdition was only 32Bit (64Bit only for subscription edition).

PC has 32bit WinXP, installed 32bit Web Edition 13.1,  

and Cyclone V looks to require a 64bit compile environment. 

 

If a project was compiled with 64bit(OS and Web Edition), How to recompile it with 32 Bit compile environment. Can it be done?

Cyclone V devices don't require 64-bit Windows or Quartus. 

 

You can recompile projects created under 64-bit operating systems on 32-bit platforms....
