Questa Intel FPGA edition crash.

Hi.

If you first add new signals to the waveform window and then restart the simulation, Questa will crash.
If you restart the simulation first and then add signals, everything will be fine.
I don't remember a similar problem with Modelsim.

Which operating system are you using? Please ensure that your operating system is supported.

Are you able to duplicate the crash using the example design from this Quick Start user guide and following steps 1.8 and 1.9?

I use Windows 10 Pro, 22H2.

Design example works fine.

But I usually don't use simulation scripts, I create a simulation projects (.mpf).

There may be something that needs to be added to the simulation project.

I'll study the script from design example.

Hi.

To prevent this and possibly other problems when migrating from Modelsim to Questa, the simulation project must be rebuilt.

Unfortunately, I did not find how to rebuild the project automatically and had to create a new project.

After which everything works fine.
