Signal tap: difference between .sof programming

Hi,

I am facing issues with quartus prime lite V20.1 and signal tap.

When I programm the .sof from signal tap, I have different behavior between different .sof programming, for example:

- 1st .sof programming:

I can observe measurement on my first data, not on my second.

- 2nd .sof programming: (without any changes from 1st programming):

I can observe measurement on the second data, not the first one.

- 3th .sof programming : (without any changes from 1st and 2nd programming):

I can observe measurement on both data.

The signal tap clock is based on the fastest design clock. There is no DUT environment changes between the different programming.

How can we explain this behavior?

Have I forgotten something in the tap configuration?

Thank you.

Best regards,

Without knowing what your design is supposed to do or what trigger(s) you've set up, it's not really possible to help.

Can you explain the design and show your full .stp file with the trigger condition columns?

Hi,

Probably you have enable/disable different set of data for different .sof

What changes had been made to the stp when generating sof1,2,3?

Thanks,

Regards,

Sheng
