Using the Alt4GXB in an Arria2GX (Quartus 11.1)

Somehow the documentation is incomplete or unclear regarding the Alt4GXB on a Arria2GX. One of the help pages asks me to use the MegaWizard to create the AltGXB. There, the actual parameters do not fit the explained ones. Another one wants me to use the MegaWizard to get an Alt2GXB. The Alt2GXB is not accessible for the Arria2GX. I was able to find an Alt4GXB from the library /altera/11.1sp2/quartus/libraries/. Under megafunctions-IO. There are of course no parameters to be set. And there is no help to it to explain all the signals. The part is generated with a clearbox loader, and the resulting tdf file is with a "do not edit".

I want to connect a RAM to the GXB and think the RAM should be clocked out by the GXB, meaning there should be a RAM Control interface provided by the GXB.

Even though I saw explanatory schematics with a clocked buffer at the output of the GXB, there isn't a real enable for the GXB, power downs or so. I expect an enable signal to exist that lets me start and stop a GXB on a WIDTH boundary. Or how else can I control the bits being shifted out ?

And what kind of Megawizard RAM am I supposed to connect to the GXB ? I want to write to this RAM with a R/W Adress & Data mechanism, and this RAM should be read out multiple times. This would point to a dualport RAM. Is the GXB able to control the read-pointer ?
