I am having trouble setting up an advanced signal tap trigger to do a bus comparisson to trigger when RAM read bus = RAM write bus,  the tool tells me "Object does not have enough inputs"

???    I can not find any online documentation on the advanced trigger. only basic trigger

Hi,

The black dot on left side has to be connected to input. If the input is being deleted or not connected, it'll be highlighted red check screenshot attached. Here is the document reference link for Advanced Trigger Condition https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/683819/22-4/advanced-trigger-conditions.html

Thanks,

Best Regards,

Sheng

I'm not sure how you added "RAM Read Addr" and "RAM Write Addr" to the editor, but I've never seen advanced trigger objects with green text.  The objects look like they are expecting connections on the input side (dots on left side) so maybe that's the issue.  Try simply dragging and dropping the busses from the list on the left (Name column), maybe not their alias names.
