can I convert SOF file from the version of the Quartus II 12.1 in the format of the Quartus II 12.0?

The problem is that SOF file from version 12.1 no programs the Quartus Programmer 11.1. I need to update the firmware on the remote system, which is worth Programmer v11.1.

The sof file format was changed from version 12.0 to 12.1. 

I have the same problem: I need to read a sof file generated with quartus 12.1 in the quartus 9.1 programmer, but I get the error "sof file corrupted". I search for a possibility to convert a sof 12.1 to sof 12.0 or ealier.
