Intel EMA 1.14.3 endpoint duplication cleanup setting

In the Intel EMA 1.14.3 release notes, it mentions “Configurable setting to automate endpoint duplication cleanup”. Where is this setting located? I can not find it on the EMA server and it is not in any of the documentation. Also the documentation only goes up to version 1.14.2.

-thanks

Hello JohnBlake,

Greetings!

To enable the "Configurable setting to automate endpoint duplication cleanup", please follow the steps below:

  1. Log into the Intel® EMA Web GUI as a Global Administrator.
  2. Navigate to the Settings tab.
  3. Scroll down to the SWAM Server section at the bottom.
  4. Enable the option "Enable HW-based Endpoint Unification via Platform UUID".

This setting will help automate the cleanup of duplicate endpoints based on hardware identifiers.
