Intel SCS Console couldn't discover AMT client machine.

Hello - I have just started to explore Intel AMT and I have configured a client for testing, and I could successfully connect to the client's web interface at port 16992 and from the Intel Manageability Commander. However, when I tried to use Intel SCS Console, I wasn't able to discover this client either from entering the Intel AMT FQDN or from Intel AMT IPV4. Pls advise what could possibly be the problem? Thanks.

I was checking the information provided and I would like to share with you the following pdf file about the Intel® Setup and Configuration Software of the Intel® SCS. Please check the link below and take a look into the section 11.4 Remote Connection to Intel AMT Fails. https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/software/Intel_SCS_User_Guide.pdf Please make sure that your system have been setup properly according to the guide; if the issue still remain let me know in order to proceed with the next step. Hello I used the discovery utility on the client machine with AMT already configured, and the output xml file looks perfectly normal. Also, I have tried to use the Intel Manageability Commander, MeshCommander, MeshCentral… all have good results, just that the Intel SCS Console cannot discover that client machine. Where can I find the RCS log file? Please advise, thanks. Bmj123

Could you please so kind and provide us the RCS Log again because I cannot see it on the thread, I will appreciate it.

 

On the other hand, the Intel® Setup and Configuration Software Version: 12.1 is comparable with Windows 10*.

Hello there

 

Sorry have been busy with something else. I missed a step of manually adding the machines to SCS and now I added the machine to SCS. However, when I tried to do further config using the SCS to the client, it did not go through. Don't know what went wrong. Pls see the log files.

Hello I still have problem on applying the pre-configured profile to the AMT device via the SCS Console. I have attached the related log file last time and you mentioned that you would like to take a look at the log file first. Your assistance is much appreciated.
