Type of device connected to PCIe interface in Q35 chipset

Hi,

Can any type of device be connected to PCI express interface of the Intel Q35 chipset device? or is it only a graphics device be connected to it. In the chipset document and chipset system diag, PCI express graphics device is shown to be connected to it.
