Can I power and operate the realsense T265 with a Raspberry Pi Zero?

I want to have a rather compact setup to operate the tracking camera and was wondering, if it was possible to do this via a Raspberry Pi Zero.

As stated in the specifications, the T265 can operate via a USB 2.0 connection, which would include the Micro USB 2.0 type B port on a Pi Zero.

Also, would a cable with Micro USB 2.0 type B connectors on either sides be sufficient to do so? Or would I still need to have a Micro USB 3.0 type B connector (of which the additional pins would not be used anyways)?

Cheers,

Nick

I recommend checking out the link below, where someone else who asked about the possibility of using Pi Zero with the T265 was answered. This discussion in the link would also be an excellent place to ask about your cable question, as the discussion is an open one where anyone can post what they want to know about the T265.

Hi 3000021216331.5517982550295645E12, Thank you for your interest in the Intel RealSense T265 camera. Intel recommends to use the cables provided with the camera. The camera may work with other cables or adapters but they have to be tested extensively by the customer and Intel does not guarantee that they will work. Regards, Alexandra
