What is the model number of your laptop or system/motherboard?

You should go to the manufacturer of your laptop or system/motherboard for assistance with THEIR BIOS.

Hello there. I have a multi year old Studio XPS 8000 running on an i7 860 at 2.80 GHz. I have been educated that this CPU has a component called Turbo Lift which will speed up to 3.46 GHz when required. I might want to see the exhibition advantage when running Pilot training program. I have checked utilizing CPU-Z, and the clock speed stays at 2.80 GHz when running Pilot training program. As indicated by my online examinations Turbo Lift is empowered through the Profiles. I have gone into my Profiles, and there is no reference to it by any means. My Profiles is Dell Inc. A01 dated 11/08/2009. I am mindful that there is a Profiles update accessible (A03 dated 03/11/2011), yet the Dell drivers page expresses that to utilize it I have to "download the record and duplicate it to a DOS-bootable USB streak drive, at that point boot the framework to the USB streak drive and run the program". I have no clue what a DOS-bootable USB streak drive is. Is this goal, or is it ok for me to run the Profiles update record from my work area, as different Youtube recordings propose? What's more, obviously the significant inquiry is whether this Profiles update will give me a choice to empower Turbo Lift? Or on the other hand is there another motivation behind why this element isn't accessible? In the event that it is significant, my operating system is Windows 7 Home 64 piece.

"Turbo Lift" can be found on the Enterprise.

Your processor is a first gen processor and is no longer supported.

Windows 7 is DEAD.

Contact Dell for support, and to determine if their bios supports "Turbo Lift"
