Ensure that you have updated the drivers for your motherboard to the latest version available. Then update to the most recent BIOS release - this will ensure that the latest microcode is installed. Be aware that ancillary drivers such as those for Sound have also been updated to improve system stability.
Use the Intel Default Settings for your board. This should resolve the issues that were being experienced previously.
