I have an intel Q6750 Core 2 Duo 2.66 and want a Q9400 Quad core 2.66, is there going to be any advantage in speed etc these are 775 processors.

The reason I ask, if I want anything else thats faster then I have to change mother board again. Now using Asus P5QL Pro

Do you mean an e6750?

And what do you use the system for?

But in general yes you should see a performance increase
