The fan on my i5-12600 got broken accidently during installation. Does anybody knows whether it is possible to replace the fan itself? I don't want to waste the whole cooler just because of a broken fin in the fan.
Thanks

Sorry, but Intel does not stock or sell replacements parts for these coolers. You could try corresponding with the fan vendor listed on the label; they may be able to provide the replacement part.
Hope this helps,

Thanks for the tip on looking for the label.
I wonder whether some other fan of the similar size can be attached.

Based upon the fact that the cooler utilizes an integrated cowling, I very much doubt that you are going to find a replacement fan that you can swap in. In my look around, the views of this cooler showed an embossed Intel logo on the top of the cowling and no label. You thus might have to look at the packaging to see which vendor built the version that you have.
I next have to ask whether you plan to game for sustained periods of time on this PC. If so, the stock cooler is going to get very loud and annoying (worse with your missing blade) and the cooler will eventually be overwhelmed by the heat from the processor (unless you dial down the processor performance). Anyway, if this is to be the case, I strongly recommend going immediately for a 3rd party cooling solution that is designed to handle sustained thermals at high-performance levels (see this review for example: Does stock suck? Testing the new Intel CPU cooler with the i5 12th generation!).
Hope this helps,

I will not play games on my new build so I think the stock cooler would be good enough. I actually did some research before I made a decision to use it and your are right that the i5 barely makes it into its spec. Yes, its fan does make quite a bit of noise when running at full speed and, with a missing blade and the plastic attachment to the motherboard, it even vibrates.
The fan was made by Nidec. Finding a replacement for it didn’t look promising so I went out and bought a new 3rd party cooler. It's all good now, but the funny thing about it is that latter I came across of an unused original Intel cooler for $15 on eBay.
Thanks again for your assistance.
