I am trying to download a BIOS, but I am getting access denied.

Hello,

I want to update the BIOS for my old NUC but the download link isn't working.

I have tried multiple browsers, operating systems, Wi-Fi, wired connections, 4G, different IPs, and using a VPN.

The problem is clearly not on my end.

I'd like to know about the model of your Intel NUC device or you may upload the Intel SSU tool. Hi @VonM_Intel ,

I assume that you didn't try to download the WY0054.bio file.  Instead your are asking for SSU Report. I can't download this file neither. So, my conclusion is that the problem is in the Intel Download Center.

Please check.

I am also having the same issue with the same file, access denied. Intel please check your permissions this not an end user issue.

This is probably happening because there is no longer any support - including downloads - for the WY NUC.

I have a backup of this BIOS package in my archive. I have attached it.

P.S. It is just wrong - deplorable - that the Intel support agents didn't (couldn't) tell you this right away.

Yes agreed, I feel like this is a fairly straight forward fault- hopefully someone will see this soon and push it to the right place if it is a fault.
