We are driving the SOC input signal, the JTAG_TCK_CPU (AH51) ; input signal from an Intel Voltage translator buffer, the SN74AXC8T245JWR at 1.01 VOH. The device is the 3rd generation Xeon D-1700. When the device is powered on, it pulls the input signal down (VIH) to approximately 0.650 Volts. We have no idea what could be root cause.

Could you please let us know the part number of the processor related to your request?  D-1700

Where do you acquire this processor?

I don’t understand the question. I did not acquire them personally.

There are about 100 of these Intel Xeon SoC’s , installed on next generation of Internet router(s). All of them have this issue…’

Thanks for your quick reply.

However, we need your answer to our first question in the previous communication. By the way, the provided picture is blurry, could you please provide a better-focus picture?

We are waiting for your reply.

Best regards,

@CarlosAM_INTEL.

Hello.

1. the part number is Xeon D-1749 NT.

2. Upon further review, we believe the root cause is a blown input buffer gate, on the JTAG TCLK signal line ; BGA ( AH51 ).

I believe the company intends to scrap all the modules with this part installed. As such, no further action is required for this case...........
