New and need help on processor

I had gotten a computer that has a older mother board (DG965SS) it has a E6300 processor in it right now I want to upgrade it I was looking at the e6700 processors from the list of compatible processors some had a check mark next to them but the E6600 and 6700 had a exlamation point (!) so not sure if it will work I am adding a link that is a side by side comparison any help will be appricated

I just looked at something and the motherboard has a 775 LGA socket so does that mean it won't work
