I submitted a ticket for my 14th gen CPU on the 18th and haven’t heard anything since. I just wanted to get an idea of how long this process may take. My PC is down and out and i would like to get back and running.  Thanks.

it's been 6 days for me since the last message and I'm frustrated as hell. I need the processor for my workloads. I was at the cross shipping point and provided all additional information required to get it done. still no response or phone call..

Well that’s not encouraging.

try calling support and pick the option to call you back. I just got the phone call and they said that they would escalate the case and also offered to upgrade to an i9-14900k for free (but a 4-5 week wait). they have i7-14700k shortages right now as well. They also offer a refund option.

My ticket has been waiting for many weeks now, guess they are very busy atm.

Don't be in a rush, they don't have any processors to replace yours with.

No 13900K, no 14900K, no 14900KS and from what users over on Reddit have shown people are being quoted six weeks or more. I have two processors they cannot replace and offer only a refund, leaving you with a useless motherboard unless you take the refund and purchase a processor from a retailer who may have one of the defective oxidized units.

With some of the timelines being shown in screenshots it looks like some people won't have a replacement CPU until after the launch of Arrow Lake. There's something grotesque about celebrating the launch of your latest product while users you claimed you were committed to supporting go without the previous.

This feels like it's a push to get people not to replace and for ones who wish to replace, to kick the can down the road until they can offer a Core Ultra SKU to customers instead, who will still need a new motherboard. Either way feels like a push because Intel knows something they're not sharing.

Oh thats unfortunate. Do you think i could get a refund instead if i would prefer that just by asking for it in my support ticket? Still no answer after i was told that a courier would come get my old processor some weeks ago.
