Closing NIOS II Console Window

Has anyone ever accidentally closed the NIOS II console window? I can get the window to come back by clicking window -> show view -> Nios II console window, but it seems the windon no longer "updates" with the processor. I just get a gray box with nothing actually printing. Is there an easy way to get the window back and working? I suspect that this may be some sort of bug in eclipse, but I can not quite figure it out.
