Hi all,
I am new to this forum and i would like to know if firewire 1394b (800mbits/s) was supported with uclinux on the nios ii. I suppose yes because it is supported by linux. what are then the hardware solutions? I thought to the TSB82AA2 link layer controller from Texas Instruments. However, it's interafce to the NIOS would be a PCI link. Then : is there a pci support with the nios ii? is is possible to embedd the pci controller in the fpga (existing ip)? Thank you for any help, Jean LEELink Copied

PCI support hasn't been tested with the Nios II Linux Distribution... at least not within Microtronix.
