How to send an IP-packet with lwIP?

I am trying to use the standalone lwIP, and have configured the lwIP webserver example successfully. However, I have difficulties with understanding the code used to send data. 

 

Would it be possible for one of you guys to send me a simple example that send some data, e.g. a simple string over Ethernet.

There should be an "echo" application inside the demo shipped with LWIP...
