Hello!
I have a question about storage device. If I install a "CF-to-IDE Adapter" on the proto2 (40pin IDE socket) of EP2C35 , Pins assignment have been change to proto2. Then may I store data to CF card? If it is workable , and I send a signal of ATAPI(IDE) to proto2 . May I use hot-plugging (or Hot Swap) ?Link Copied

I think it should work with ATA and ATAPI. The CF works at "true IDE mode".
And the CF has power on/off control. Hot-swap can be supported. You can use uclinux to drive them. You should also check the CF IP in, Nios Discussion Board > Downloads > Tested IP
