Nios 2 v6.1 fails build c++ (winXp SP2)

Hi 

I am a newbie with nios.  

 

After my 1st installation of Quartus 2 and nios 2 v6.1. I was able to compile Quartus Tutorial project and SOPC. 

 

When I create a new C++ application in Nios 2, then add my main.c source file. 

The main.c is a good file. 

 

The problem is when I start the build. I get Error: 

"Failed to convert tut01_nios_system.ptf to unix format using cygpath" 

 

The nios logs reports: 

!ENTRY com.altera.ide.core 4 0 2007-02-03 23:08:36.496 

!MESSAGE Error occurred while updating SOPC Builder Cache.  

Launch SOPC Builder from Quartus II for more 

 

I launched SOPC Builder, but did not see anything. 

 

Any ideas!
