I have the i5 (4460) processor. My PC is running slow very often. Is it possible that the 4th generation processors are just too old to run Windows 10 properly?

I have checked already every possible cause for the "slow-down". Nothing is over loaded. Not the RAM (8GB), not hard disk space (about half full only), and CPU usage is under 50% also. So I think it could solve the problem to return to windows 7 maybe? Thanks alot for HELP! :)

First, you are in the wrong forum.

No, there are plenty of 4th gen processors running Windows 10, and running it well. I have several, including a 3rd gen processor.

A good place to solve windows issues is on the Microsoft forum.

Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.

Could you please clarify if the affected device has been designed by you or a third-party company? In case that it is a third-party unit, please give the model, part number, and where is stated the information related to it.
