Hello,
I would like to ask for help - customer is interested in upgrading processors from E5 to E5 v2 on HPE proliant servers (DL380p gen8), server supports it, there is procedure about upgrading BIOS in first, which we follow, but every time we go throught this action we lost network configuration in windows (2008R2) including teaming settings.
It is happening in both ways - when we change v1 to v2 and also replacing v2 to v1.
Network card is in PCI-E 3.0 slot, but I cannot find any document describing such behavior and customer is pushing me to deliver root cause of this issue, can anybody help please?
thank you very much in advance,
Jan

Hello Jan:
In this case, to get the proper assistance to fix the problem related to the network configuration, the best thing to do will be to get in contact with the manufacturer of the server system, in this case HP, since they installed everything in there and the set up all the configuration on it.
