I just purchased a Dell 7810 with 2x Xeon e5-2620 v3 cpus. I want to upgrade.
First I want to know if I just have to match the part or the batch number on these. It seems just the part number. Second can I upgrade to a v4 cpu with a bios update? And finally what’s the most powerful v3 I can upgrade to?
I was thinking of pairing 2 e5-2699 v3 SR1XD cpus. Any suggestions outside the questions would be very appreciated.
Thank you I’m advance!
