Hi Bryant_R ,
Try to set CPU Core Ratio to Sync All Cores and 1-Core Ratio Limit to 45 and see if this works better.
If you still want to use turbo boost function, I suggest to verify the CPU voltage when turbo boost is enabled, some Asus mainboards don't set the right voltage.
There is a CPU Core/Cache Voltage option in bios called Adaptive mode that lets you modify the voltage for turbo mode.
Have a nice day.

Hello Bryant_R,
Try with a BIOS update; you can download the latest version for your motherboard at the following link:
https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/ROG-MAXIMUS-IX-CODE/HelpDesk_CPU/ https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/ROG-MAXIMUS-IX-CODE/HelpDesk_CPU/
You can also contact ASUS for BIOS update instructions or following their BIOS Flashing Method.
NOTE: This link is being offered for your convenience and should not be viewed as an endorsement by Intel of the content, products, or services offered there.
Make sure the BIOS is running at default settings and your ram running at 2133 or 2400 MHz
Best regards,
Ivan.

Thanks guys after a bios update it stabilized for real world use, but I'm still getting the bsod during gaming or while running intel burn test on maximum...anyway I can troubleshoot the problem? I've done memtest 86 for 16 passes no errors, and prime 95 for 3 hours.
any feedback is appreciated still new to most of this.

In this case, I suggest having the RAM running at 2133 or 2400 MHz, 3000mhz is overclocking and even though the processor is unlocked and you can overclock it that will be out of the processor specifications and I'm sure that is causing BSOD and instability problems. If you want to use you system without this problem I recommend disabling XMP mode and ran it at 2133 or 2400 MHz.
Sincerely,
Ivan.

Thanks Ivan, I've made sure the ram is running at 2133, sadly the error keeps occurring. I've replaced the PSU, MOTHERBOARD, GPU, and RAM I'm Stumped I can't seem to pass IBT or play longer than 30 mins. I bought another CPU and should be able to get it running hopefully by the end of the week. If the error keeps happening I will let you know.
Sorry for the trouble.

Thank you for the information and keep us posted about the result with the new processor, if you still have problems with the old processor, I suggest you to http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/contact-support.html# @14 Contact Support and request and RMA for that processor.
Best wishes,
Ivan.
