does i7-10750H from my laptop support 1080p 144hz when connected via hdmi to a 144hz monitor? if so, how can i do it?

yep i have tried connecting my laptop to a 144hz monitor but i could only get up to 120hz. any way i could get it up to 144hz?

You should be able to achieve 144Hz. 120Hz is what would occur if your cable can't quite hack 144Hz. Have you tried using a better quality cable? Try one that says it supports HDMI 2.0.
