Hi ,

I have purchased an old core 2 quad Q9550S processor from a website. I have received a processor with atleast two missing or damaged components (perhaps capacitors). I am sharing images. Is it safe to use it or should i return it? I have installed it on my G41 motherboard and surprisingly it is working. Can it damage my motherboard? What components are missing and what are their functions and what could be the reason to take out those components from processor? Can it decrease processor performance and disable any of its functionality? Will it affect processor's stability and longevity in future? Thanks.

Do not use damaged processors.
