Hi i was wondering if MAX® V 5M570Z CPLD this Altera cPLD have any specific ID code verification before it allow to flash? 
when using the Quantus programming the device detect will display 5M570Z or generic description "5M (240ZT144/570Z)/EPM570Z"

or just a generic series description?

is this device detect significant to block the flashing?

  • Did you click Auto detect and it show that particular OPN device?
  • What is the Quartus version that was used?
  • What is the error message show when the programming failed?
  • You may need to check your device location and connection
