Altera DE1 cyclone ii send serial data to laptop via rs232

Hello and good day all. I just buy Altera DE1 cyclone ii EP2C20F484C7. Have done playing some basic example using Quartus II 13.0sp1 Web Edition. Is there any example for sending serial data through RS232 continuously. Let say fix string/char send from DE1 and display in laptop serial terminal. Any url suggestion tutorial will be grateful.
