I have Quartus II Web Edition installed on Ubuntu 8.04
EVERY time I start the program, it asks me for the location for the licence!! The licence works fine so why does it ask me every time I open the program? I have set the privileges on the folder from root to user but that didn't help链接已复制

I believe that only full version (not web version) was allowed on Linux platforms. I have Quartus II 9.0 (full edition) running on Ununtu 9.04. I simply point to the license location in Tools -> License setup -> License File.

I am going to try and do a re-install and see if that fixes the problem
--- Quote Start --- check in Tools => License Setup that the MAC address that Quartus matches your license file. --- Quote End --- The licence works fine. Everytime I start Quartus, it asks me for a licence. I select; "If you have valid licence, specify the location......" and the file path IS already sepcified!
maybe u have a "spacebar" in ur license file path. try moving it to c:\altera\****.dat worked out for me
