Altera Programming Unit w/ Windows XP

I'm wondering if anyone has had success installing the USB drivers for the Altera Programming Unit (APU) with Windows XP. There seem to be some significant problems with the drivers and the online documentation looks to be out of date. I saw other threads with no responses mentioning similar problems 

 

I am using the drivers provided with Quartus II 9.1 sp2.

I was able to get this to work by removing the oemsetup.inf file from the C:\altera\91sp2\qprogrammer\drivers folder.
